In December of 2009 OneBeacon sold the renewal rights to its non-specialty commercial insurance to The Hanover Group. In July of 2010 the company sold their personal insurance business to Tower Group.

It took a month for OneBeacon to take action on my claim. I qualified for TTD benefits. Every 2-3 weeks they would either forget to mail my TTD benefit check, or they would mail it to the wrong address. Also, they change adjuster on me every couple of months which usually results in so kind misstep on their part; ie: mailing my TTD benefit check to the wrong address. OneBeacon does not offer direct deposit on TTD benefits.
