Rented a car for Sat, Sun, returned on Monday. Rent-Wreck recommended this agent, just down the street. I explained I had no running vehicle for past 1.5 years, so no longer insured, but needed vehicle to attend out of town wedding. RAW said they had agreement with SF for temp insurance, covering 3-4 wks. I paid approx $70 for weekend. No mention of continued coverage or another time limit greater than 3-4 wks. I continued to receive bills for $224 per month. Again, I had no running vehicle and wished to insure only weekend rental. Yesterday, recd cancellation notice, after speaking with local ofc about receiving 2ND notice. Was told to ignore and I did not owe, since I had no running vehicle. I feel that both RAW and SF had been less than clear and perhaps deceptive. How can anyone owe for three months for a weekend rental? I definitely would not recommend RAW if you need to purchase insurance for the rental and are not already insured.
