I would give Vickie a 0 if I could. Her job is pretty simple, right? An agent should be customer service focused and act as the middleman between the insurance companies and her clients. On August 21, 2022 Vickie was made aware of new replacement cost calculators at SafePort Insurance Company that would be in place if she didn't bind home insurance policies by September 12, 2022. She NEVER made me aware of this as I could have paid for my policy by then and it wouldn't have been an issue. Our policy expires September 25, 2022 and when I asked to pay it on September19, 2022, she told me it would be $3,000 more blaming it on SafePort. When I called SafePort myself, they set the record straight and let me know Vickie was aware of this change in August and the increase was due to her lack of attention to their notice. Due to her incompetence, we would have to pay $3,000 more for home insurance. I asked her to make the situation right and for her to cover the additional cost we were going to incur. She simply said, "find another agent." I would definitely look elsewhere for an insurance agent. I will be contacting the insurance licensing agency to file a complaint.
